Advanced Dry Needling – Dallas, TX

Advanced Dry Needling Course – May 17, 18 & 19, 2024

This course is designed to cater to practitioners seeking to consolidate their expertise. This Advanced Dry Needling course, offers a deeper exploration of the clinical dimensions associated with this technique. Building upon the foundational knowledge provided in the Basic course, which emphasized needle practices, proper clean needle technique, and adept handling of filiform needles, this Advanced course takes a more intricate and clinically focused approach.

The Basic course delivered by EMI (Eastern Medicine Institute) comprehensively covered the common and larger muscles of the body. The goal was to equip practitioners with the skills needed to proficiently insert, manipulate, and safely extract the filiform needle, ultimately delivering optimal outcomes for patients.

In the Advanced course, our focus shifts to the insertion of needles into tendons and ligaments of the smaller muscles and joints. A meticulous exploration of needling techniques is undertaken, concentrating on critical body regions including the upper cervical spine, lower cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbopelvic spinal region, shoulder complex, wrist and forearm, upper and lower extremities, knee complex, ankle/foot complex, as well as protocols tailored for TMJ/TMD dysfunction and headaches.

This course also delves into advanced topics such as electrical stimulation in conjunction with filiform needles, as well as protocols for needling scar tissue. We ensure a comprehensive understanding by dedicating time to discussing potential adverse side effects and meticulous documentation of treatment procedures.

Join us in this Advanced Needling course, where we elevate your skills to encompass intricate clinical applications, enhancing your ability to provide holistic patient care.
