DESCRIPTION:Dry Needling or Myofascial trigger point needling is a form of treatment to treat the muscles of the body which demonstrate pain\, knotting or trigger points.\nDry Needling is effective for most muscles of the body as well as tendon insertion reduction of  local pain and increase the patients range of motion. \nCourse Overview \nIntroduction to Dry Needling\nSafety guidelines for needling\nEthics in the treatment of Dry Needling\nSuperficial Dry Needling Techniques\nDeep Dry Needling\nAnatomy of the individual & groups of muscles\nClinical & Physical Examination of Myofascial Pain Syndromes\nMyofascial Syndromes of the Cervical & Thoracic region\nMyofascial Syndromes of the Lumbosacral & Gluteal region\nMyofascial Syndromes of the Upper Extremity\nMyofascial Syndromes of the Lower Extremity\nElectrical stimulation of the needle & the different devices\nCupping & Gua Sha techniques in the treatment of Myofascial Syndromes \nThis is a hands – on course.\nAll attendees are expected to needle and be needle by fellow seminar attendees.\n\n\nNeedling techniques will be demonstrated and Doctors will apply the techniques with other seminar attendees.   \nEveryone will be ready to treat patients on Monday morning. \nNeedle & non-needle techniques will be applied throughout the course. \nCourse Schedule: \n\n\n\nFriday:  8:00 AM to 6:00 PM\n\n\n\nSaturday:  8:00 AM to 6:00 PM\nSunday:  8:00 AM to 4:00 PM \nDr. Mark L.
