Battlefield Acupuncture

Battlefield Acupuncture is an Auricular Therapy technique (Ear acupuncture) which was utilize on the battlefield where standard western medical protocols could not be effectively utilized.  It is an effective technique for the reduction of pain.

CLINICAL ACUPUNCTURE ORTHOPEDICS

Become proficient in the treatment of pain. It’s time to break away from cookbook treatment.

Clinical acupuncture orthopedics is a course designed to teach the practitioner in the treatment of conditions related to the spine as well as the upper and lower extremities that are often seen in the Chiropractic clinic daily. There is a relationship of the subluxation complex and dysfunctions which produces pain in various parts of the body and this will be discussed. This course covers headaches of various types, cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spinal issues. Additionally, the upper and lower extremities will be covered by each particular joint. Treatment review of proper needling and other non-needle treatment such as cupping, Gua sha and electrical stimulation procedures and the different machines used. Clinical Diagnostic tools will be presents to assist the Doctor in treatment recommendation.

The attendee will learn treatment protocols for:

Headaches – By location, pain types and pattern.
Neck pain, Midback pain & Lowback pain – when to use local treatments and when distal treatments & which may be more effective at particular times.
Upper extremity conditions of the shoulder, elbow and wrist.
Lower extremity conditions of the hip, knee and ankle.
Hand & Feet conditions.
Mirror Techniques.
Needle Techniques.

Discussion, demonstration & practice of various Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine techniques which provides treatment to the Subluxation complex & other extremity disorders with Chinese Medicine.
